Kingscote is very fortunate to have an excellent Village Hall in perfect condition.
The Village Hall is held by Kingscote Parish Council, on trust for the benefit of the local residents. The Village Hall Committee, which is elected annually, is responsible for the general management and control of the Hall and the arrangements for its use. They run the Kingscote Village Hall Trust (Registered Charity No. 301555), and we work with the Parish Council on the maintenance and repair of the Village Hall.
The Committee organise various events throughout the year for all to enjoy, and through these events and other fundraising activities and grant applications aim to cover the general running costs of the Village Hall and also raise funds for its improvement.
It is, in many ways, the perfect small venue!
Kingscote Village Hall has recently been extensively refurbished and is now an ideal venue for small private parties, talks and meetings.
The recently renovated Reynolds Room provides a smaller, more informal room for meetings and events. It is carpeted, with some soft furnishings and can fit around 4-6 tables of 4 people. It could also seat around 15 for talks/lectures. It has electric heating and a number of double power points. It is not suitable for disabled access.
