Getting Involved

There are many ways you can get involved at St John the Baptist

Flowers – A number of people help keep the church looking good by arranging flowers. But anyone with a gift in that department would be welcomed with open arms! The whole team turn out for festivals and ensure the church always looks at its best.

If you would like to help in any way, please contact one of the churchwardens in the first instance.

Readers & Intercessors – We like to use the gifts of as many people as possible. Reading a lesson or preparing prayers is another way that people can get involved in our worshipping life. Contact Rev Caroline if you would like to offer your help.

The Churchyard – St John the Baptist sits in an historic churchyard with many interesting graves that are often visited by people researching their family tree. In order to keep it looking its best, there is a dedicated team of people from the village who mow and strim. However, they are always more than willing to share their duties with others who enjoy this kind of activity!
